FASHION FORWARD: CLARK KENT ALLSTAR FORCES

Kudos to DJ Clark Kent who has been making some serious noise in the shoe game...Since he has crossed over into the shoe game and has been designing kicks, Kent has been bringing a new flavor to an over saturated market.

Kent was recently recruited to design an Air Force for this years NBA All Star Game (vote Kobe for the West) to take place in Phoenix (notice the Suns colorway)...The kick is ridiculously fresh and I urge you all to pick you up a pair...The only thing is you won't be able to catch it at your local 'Mom and Pop' shop...

I have to laugh and tell you that I have made some calls and should have some on the way soon...It was brought to my attention on my last Fashion Forward Post (Click Here) that I may be leading the people on!!! Definitely not: "If I say it...It must be true"

Just to prove it I'll make sure I rock these when I get them ASAP...The only request I have for you all out there is quit gettin an exclusive shoe and wearing a plain T-Shirt!!! Have the decency to get something to go with them...

While many of the exclusive and elusive Air Force 1s of late have been leaked
early enough for us to really get a grasp on what we think of them, the 2009 NBA All Star Game Nike Air Force 1 edition has been somewhat of a mystery…until now. Due to the secrecy, it may come as no surprise that this Air Force 1 has been designed by none other than Brooklyn’s Finest: DJ Clark Kent.

To compliment the lucky city that the NBA has selected to host some of the most entertaining basketball of the NBA season (excluding the playoffs), DJ Clark Kent has styled this Air Force 1 with Phoenix Suns colors. The upper features purple patent leather on the back section while yellow accents can be found on the piping along the mid-panel as well as on the Swoosh and the hell tab. The rest of the upper is a clean white with a purple “09″ stitched on the outer, front side, to stand for this playoff’s year. It only gets better on the sole, which rocks an all orange mid-sole bottomed out with an icy, clear out-sole. This orange is mirrored on the fabric of the inner on the shoe. To finish off the sneakers, DJ Clark Kent brought in lace masters Starks to design the laces for this pair and even features Starks lace tips. Starks also designed the dubrae (lace lock) in an old english typeface which reads “East” on the right foot and “West” on the left foot, additionally, the insoles also say the same. This colorway is scheduled to be released during the All Star Game in Phoenix, taking place on February 15th . Thanks to our friends in the know. source
