As if the Cowboys needed anymore off the field distractions here comes another in the form of Wide Receiver Terrell Owens and his new gig...
Apparently T.O. will be the face of a new reality show on VH-1, that will follow the Dallas Cowboy around in the off-season and show the battle between his media image and real life personality...
I recently watched an old documentary on T.O. and his childhood growing up with his grandmother...A lot of Owens antics could be attributed to his controlled environment as a youth, however at what point does a person take responsibility for their actions and in laments terms "Man Up"...The series follows one of the NFL’s biggest and most outspoken stars, wide
receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, Terrell “T.O.” Owens. In the series, T.O. will be shadowed in the off-season by his best friends and publicists Monique Jackson and Kita Williams as they battle the two sides of his large personality. Viewerswill discover that behind all the braggadocio, emotional histrionics, and sculpted physique that is the outspoken media magnet known to the world as “T.O.” — there is also a quiet, sensitive, mild-mannered guy from Alexander City, Alabama…that’s Terrell.
Personally I'll probably watch the show just like I'm sure I'll be tuning in to Ray J's reality show as well...VH-1 is really doin their thing with the reality shows, I wonder if MTV will ever get back in the mix. I mean Shot of Love, G's to Gents, Real World: Brooklyn just ain't doin it for me...Can we get Tha Takeover in the line up...EARLY!!!
